Compass Labs x Turnkey: Welcome to Secure Agentic Finance
TL;DR: Compass MCP connects your AI agent to onchain markets — lending, borrowing, trading, perps, RWAs — so it can act on your behalf, while Turnkey makes sure it can only ever sign what your policy allows. Both fully non-custodial.

People already use LLMs to reason about markets. They read yield curves, compare venues, spot the trade. What they can't do is act on it — and the reason isn't intelligence. It's trust. You can't hand an autonomous system a balance if one bad inference sends funds to the wrong place.
We fixed the trust problem, not by making the model smarter, but by controlling what it's allowed to sign. That's what we built with Turnkey.
What this unlocks
Money that never sits idle. Your agent watches your position around the clock and puts idle capital to work, lending it out, rotating into better yield, pulling it back when you need it, without you approving every move.
Strategies no human is fast enough to run. Rebalance toward a target allocation, buy the dip at preset thresholds, manage leverage on a perp, roll positions as rates move. You set the intent; the agent executes inside it.
The whole market, one interface. Earn, lend, borrow, swap, trade, perps, tokenized treasuries and RWAs — the full onchain capital-markets surface, not a single product.
You're in control, and so are your keys
Two layers, two jobs. Compass MCP decides what the agent can do. Turnkey decides what it can sign: keys live in a secure enclave the agent never touches, the policy is default-deny, and you can revoke it instantly. Scope it to one account, allowlist destinations, cap amounts, require a human for anything large.

We proved it live
We scoped an agent to a single policy and tried to break it. Take Earn as the example: one rule, the agent can only sign for the Earn account:
- Deposit into the Earn vault → allowed
- Send to the wrong address → denied
- Move money it was never told to → denied
One legitimate action settled onchain. Two out-of-scope attempts were refused at the signing layer… Not flagged, refused. No prompt talks its way past it. The same policy control applies to any strategy you run: a lending agent can't touch your perps, a trading agent can't withdraw to an unknown address.
Why it matters
The agentic economy is coming whether finance is ready or not. People are moving through the world via agents instead of apps, and those agents will need to hold, move, and grow money across every market. The blocker was not capability, it was a safe way to let them act. That's now solved, without custody risk.
